This policy explains how Phillip Solutions PLT ("Phillip Solutions", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information across our website at phillips.my and the applications and digital products we build and operate (together, the "Services"). We've kept it as plain as we can while covering what app stores, payment providers, and privacy laws expect us to tell you.
The short version. We collect only what we need to run our Services: account details you give us, basic device and usage data, and (where a product needs it) your location. Payments are handled by trusted payment processors, so we never store your full card number. We don't sell your personal information. You can ask us to access or delete your data at any time.

Some of our products are operated under their own brand. Where a specific app names a different controller or adds product-specific terms, those are provided within that app; this policy is the baseline that applies to all of them.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories, depending on which Service you use and the choices you make:

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data (such as health, race, religion, or precise financial account numbers) unless a specific product clearly requires it and you have agreed.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account, and to authenticate you.
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services and their features.
- To process payments, subscriptions, and orders through our payment processors.
- To deliver location-based features you have asked for.
- To send service communications and, where you have a notifications setting enabled, push notifications, email, or SMS related to your use of the product.
- To understand usage, fix bugs, monitor performance, and improve the Services.
- To keep the Services secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law (such as the GDPR or Malaysia's PDPA) applies, we rely on one or more of these bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service you signed up for), your consent (for example, location access or push notifications, which you can withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests (keeping the Services secure and improving them), and legal obligation (such as tax and accounting records for payments).
5. Sharing & third-party services
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Services, and only as needed for them to do that work. Depending on the product, these may include:
- Payment processors (for example Stripe, iPay88, or similar) to process payments securely.
- Google / Firebase for app infrastructure, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- Apple for Sign in with Apple, App Store delivery, and Apple Push Notification service.
- Email and SMS providers to send you service messages and notifications.
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers that store and serve the Services.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
6. Payments
When you make a payment, it is processed by a third-party payment gateway. Your full card or banking details are entered with and handled by that processor; we do not receive or store your full card number. We keep only a record of the transaction (such as amount, date, status, and a reference) so we can fulfil orders, manage subscriptions, provide receipts, and meet our accounting and tax obligations. Please review your payment provider's privacy policy for how they handle your payment data.
7. App stores & platform requirements
Our mobile apps are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and we follow their privacy requirements:
- The data practices described here are reflected in our App Store privacy "nutrition labels" and our Google Play Data Safety disclosures. If a particular app collects more or less than this baseline, its store listing is the authoritative summary for that app.
- We request permissions (such as location or notifications) only when a feature needs them, with an in-context explanation, and you can decline or change them later in your device settings.
- We use mobile identifiers and analytics in line with Apple's and Google's developer policies, and we do not use them for purposes you haven't been told about.
8. Location data
Some products use your location to provide features such as showing nearby results or matching you with services around you. We only access location after you grant permission, and you can turn it off at any time in your device settings. Turning it off may limit location-dependent features but will not stop you from using the rest of the app.
9. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it to provide the Services and for the purposes set out here, including meeting legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will do so subject to any records we are legally required to keep (for example, payment records for tax purposes).
10. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can:
- Update most account information directly within the relevant app.
- Manage location and notification permissions in your device settings.
- Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].
We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and trusted infrastructure providers, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond promptly if something goes wrong.
12. Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. International data transfers
We are based in Malaysia, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer data across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services or legal obligations change. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the relevant app or by email.
